  ๐Ÿงพ Confetti & Clarity:  A Summer of Paper Decluttering Weeds, Wildfires, and the Weight of 30 Years of Paper Greetings, friends—after a long summer spent battling paper and weeds, This season can be summed up with two dominant forces: ๐ŸŒฟ Weeds—which exploded across our property thanks to some much-needed rain (a blessing, since it helped keep wildfire threats at bay), and ๐Ÿ“ฆ Boxes of Paper—which I slowly, methodically, and emotionally worked my way through. ๐Ÿ—ƒ️ One Box at a Time (Mostly) Most days, I made it a goal to pull one box a day from our attic. Some days I succeeded. Other days, life had other plans. But even at a slow and steady pace, the progress was real—and today, September 4, 2021, I’m looking at only a few boxes left. ๐Ÿ—‚️ Paper Cuts & Silent To-Do Lists Still Decluttering—Even When It’s Not Glamorous Hello there, friends, Yes—I’m still here. And yes—I’m still decluttering. It’s been slow going lately… because I’ve entered the realm of what I now call: The Paper Abyss. ๐Ÿ“ฆ Twenty Years of Paperwork Believe it or not, I’m sorting through boxes of documents that go back over 20 years. And let me tell you, it’s not the kind of decluttering that brings quick wins or satisfying before-and-after photos. The real MVP of these past few weeks? ๐Ÿ‘‰ Our shredder. So far, I’ve filled 10 large black garbage bags with shredded documents. That’s a lot of “just-in-case” paper clutter finally on its way out.
